Welcome to The American Standard Coffee Co. — a coffee roasting company built on family, service, and a love for God and Country.

We started this company because we saw a gap in the coffee world. On one side, there are brands that seem to look down on this country and the people who keep it running. On the other, there are companies that focus almost entirely on the military. We wanted something in between — a place where everyday patriots could enjoy great coffee and know the people behind it share their values.

We are two police officers from Indiana who share a lifelong commitment to service. Our families have worn uniforms, fought fires, served in the military, and worked in the trades that keep America strong.

Meet Jeremy

Jeremy Coney was born and raised in rural northern Indiana. Service runs deep in his family: his father is a proud U.S. Marine veteran, long-time Deputy Sheriff, and volunteer firefighter. His brother is an active Air Force reservist and full-time police officer. His uncle also serves as a Deputy Sheriff.

Jeremy earned his Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, then began his law enforcement career with the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office in 2019. In 2024, he joined the Mishawaka Police Department, where he currently serves as a Patrol Officer.

He and his wife Kendall have a young son, Rowan. Kendall works as a dietitian specializing in diabetes care at a local doctor’s office. They attend Lincolnway Church of Christ in Columbia City, IN, and share their home with three energetic Australian Shepherds — Millie, Ember, and Ranger.

Meet James

James Bradberry is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a current police officer. Service is a family tradition — his father is a retired police officer, and many of his relatives have served in both law enforcement and fire service.

James and his wife Olivia are raising their daughter, Adalynn, along with their two loyal German Shepherds, Meeka and Mera. His goal for The American Standard Coffee Co. is simple: to offer high-quality coffee at a fair price, while honoring the values that built this country.
